| The product/market combinations For the best marketing results products and markets are combined into 
specific product/market combinations. This is a necessity for all marketing 
activities. A product may be of interest to a certain customer while other 
customers are not or less interested. The marketing activities have to be 
planned so that the best results can be achieved. For example: product A is 
marketed in market A, product A is marketed in market B, product B is marketed 
in market C, and so forth.  In the first table you can name each customer group and add a definition to 
describe the group. The names you enter here are used elsewhere in the workbook. Screenshot not shown here!   In the second table you enter sales information regarding each customer 
group.
